Yes. I call this Kindness!

It was one of those not so chilly evenings of November' 2017, while I was going home for Diwali, when this sweetest gesture happened which comforted me more aptly than a blanket could have done. I had a flight to catch at 7:30 pm and check in was going to be closed by 6:20 pm.

So, yes let me introduce, I live in thane, and as most Mumbaikar's prefer, I took a local from thane to Ghatkopar followed by a metro till Chakala. Office hour rush needs no explanation when you're in Mumbai. Anyhow, I managed to reach Chakala by 5:00 pm. And in utter happiness of reaching early, and the distance to be less than five kilometers, I booked a sharing cab from there to the domestic terminal. Yes, I don't know why but at that hour I did the blunder of booking a sharing cab. Adding to my pain, the traffic got at its peak, and I was standing there thinking of all the possible ways to get to the airport before the check in gate closes. To ruin my mood further, the cab came around 5:45 pm. And to my agony, there were two elegantly dressed ladies who had to be dropped before me. Still hoping to reach the terminal by 6:20, I was pleading the cab driver to drive fast(despite seeing the traffic). One lady was to get down somewhere at Vile Parle. Before getting off the cab, seeing my panicky face, both of them were suggesting me to do a web check-in and how I could miss the flight and what not. Nevertheless, the first lady got off, and it was 6:25 by then. I was almost in tears, thinking of the stupidity that I did. So there is this other lady who has to get off, the driver's navigation showed 10 more mins to reach to the airport, after that lady's drop location. And here, the miracle happens, while the driver turns to go to that lady's dropping location which was still 10 mins farther, the lady asks him to stop and that she would get down there itself and will take another mode from there and without wasting much time, he should drop me asap. While getting down, she just said, "Go safe. Happy Diwali and that you'll be able to celebrate Diwali with your family."

I thankfully reached  the airport by 6:45 pm. A lot of whining and begging made them let me in. This might be a gesture for you, but for me it was no less than magic.

P.S : And yes, Mumbai is full of such kind people.

A Reason

Where do I stand in this unrealistic world?
The mere thought of this makes me shiver.

But here I am in this crowd, all alone;
Life haunts and more is yet to be discovered!

Inside I am still a little child hoping for miracles,
But somehow am unknowingly caught in life's shackles.

The people who were there for me are no more the same,
Because I can't hinder them for their purpose and fame

These are the harsh truth that somewhat change like seasons,
And we abide by them thinking "everything happens for a reason!"

Coz I've learnt to hide them

Emotions are the measure of one’s abstract feeling, eyes being the most obstruction free channel. One may hide what is in one’s mind or heart, but if it comes to eye, very difficult to hide.

At our growing years, we face a lot of such situations where our internal mechanisms results in the swelling of tear glands and outcome is the droplets of what we call as water. This is not very often, coz I have learnt to hide them. Not to show the world my weakness, for now, I will be laughed at. The hardships which I suppress, the feelings which I bury, the thoughts which make me crazy or slow me down are deep inside me, searching for a path to come out.  Alas! There they stay, for I am hindering them to see the real world. Coz they are not aware of how the world is, they have never faced the harsh truths of life, that if you display your emotions, you are weak inside and the cruel world grabs to torture you. It believes in showing off your stuffs to keep them entertained.

One day feelings asked the heart,”Till when we have to be inside you? Why aren’t you releasing us?” To which the heart kindly replied,” Wait for the doomsday when the soul itself will take you outside, either with its cause or drain you with other feelings.” Or that someday the harsh truths will overflow by it.

For they say, eyes are the gateway to heart.

Legacy of love

From an infant to a toddler,
The way you bring us, you caress, to name a few,
Mom for everything that you do..
You are the source of life on earth,
Making God's presence everywhere from heart to toe,
Mom for everything that you do..
Imparting knowledge and lessons from your experience,
And all the good deeds that you make us go through,
Mom for everything that you do..
At our tender age you stood by us as a friend,
Sharing life's nostalgic secret with us which we never knew,
Mom for everything that you do..
Whenever we are in the havoc of life,
You bid away the enemies and tell them shoo,
Mom for everything that you do..
Mom for everything that you do, this one comes to thank you,
For making life so much fun & for all that you have done..

Relationship Trading

We have stepped onto the 21st century, where the world is progressing by leaps and bounds. Does it??? Really! Ask the question to oneself and we will get to know where we stand in this unrealistic world. The globe is becoming a market of emotions, where we trade our sentiments and feelings.
In this world of facebook, where we get friends ON REQUEST, it is very hard to maintain a true relation. We FOLLOW people on twitter, rather than following their footsteps to achieve great heights. Our affection is decided by "Emotional Atyachar" and "Axe Ur ex", it is very baffling to decide where true love lies. Previously the lovers hardly talked to each other yet they experienced eternal love, but today the love birds keep on texting throughout the day and end up with break-ups.
We are heading towards an era of reality shows with nothing real in it. Well built houses but broken homes. Beautiful faces yet ugly hearts.
